Liberty 100% Cotton Print Organic Lavender Sachet with Ribbon - Your Choice of Print

Our mission is to rescue remnant textiles, project leftovers, and unwanted fabric samples that have never been used – before they are carelessly tossed, end up in a landfill, or worse, are incinerated. We use as much of our rescues as possible to make one-of-a-kind handcrafted pillows that are a sustainable yet stylish statement for your home.

But even we have leftovers; so, we created a line of gifts and accessories to creatively upcycle these smaller pieces. Our Liberty of London organic lavender sachets are a charming example of thoughtful upcycling.  Small squares of Liberty cotton prints are paired with a different Liberty print on the flip side and trimmed with ribbon and a vintage recycled button.

The sachets are filled with culinary grade organically grown dried lavender from our local Princeton Lavender Farm. Their fields of fresh lavender flowers bloom all summer, attracting butterflies and bees.  At harvest, the flower buds laden with essential oil, are stripped from their stalks, bundled, and hung up to dry for several weeks –— a centuries-old method.

The sachet scent is delightfully relaxing, and it helps repel insects including moths. Place in drawers, clothes closets, laundry/linen closets, bedrooms, shoes, on your pillow, in your car, suitcase, desk or anywhere else around your home.

• Lavender fragrance comes from the essential oil of the buds as it slowly evaporates. Gently squeeze the sachet to break open more buds and release more oil. This method of refreshing sachets can extend their efficacy up to a couple of years.
