An absolutely enchanting vintage French print, probably printed in the 80’s, this Brunschwig cotton is named for the Seychelles archipelago off the coast of East Africa, known for their pristine water, and wild flora and fauna. The lush painterly pattern in warm white on a watery aqua blue features winding branches, fruits, birds and large highly detailed exotic flowers and leaves in the Jacobean style; a somewhat whimsical highly stylized floral design that can trace its routes to 17^th century Jacobean France. Surrounding the print is a thick cotton brush, perfect for an island vibe. This would be fabulous for a “coastal grandmother” look or any coastal or natural setting. … or for the love of aqua blue!
